About ME - Maureen Evans

I am a reflexology practitioner at Moving Arts/Therapy Base. To visit Moving Arts Base 'CLICK HERE' to go straight to it. I have a background of professional training and experience both within complementary therapy, general health, and mental health so I can apply this experience in my work i.e. working holistically with the relationship between health and disease and the physical, emotional and beliefs of the person.

I gained a Diploma in Reflexology with Ann Gillanders at the British School of Reflexology and continue to be a member of the BSR - to visit BSR 'CLICK HERE' to go straight to it. Being a member of the British School of Reflexology (BSR) and International Federation of Reflexologists (IFR) - to visit IFoR 'CLICK HERE' to go straight to it, informs me on new developments in reflexology and on advanced and specialist training in the field.

I am also a qualified massage therapist in Indian Head Massage and Body Massage and have been a practitioner for many years with experience of work in leisure industry, clinic work, private practice, and home visits. I trained to do Indian Head Massage with the well known therapist Nahendra Metha at the London Centre of Indian Champissage.

With a background of counselling (I qualified with a Diploma in Counselling from The Central School of Counseling and Therapy) I integrate communication skills with therapy skills to offer an eclectic approach to my work as a reflexologist at Moving Arts Base.
